Burglary Concern - Cuckoo Avenue |
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding burglary, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.
Residents of North Hanwell, please be aware that on Saturday 21st February 2026 an address along Cuckoo Ave was hit by a burglary. This occurred between the hours of 1830-2130hrs. The Intruders method of entry just like all cases we have experienced since December was the back garden by hopping over the fences, they gained access by smashing the back door window and stole money and jewellery. The estimated value of the taken items is approx £100,000. I urge residents to fit in CCTV/Flood lights as all addresses that have been hit do not have any form of home protection. If any residents who live along this street have access to CCTV please review the times mentioned above and if you have any footage please get in touch. While we will continue to pursue burglars in the area, there are steps you can do to help keep your property safe. Make sure that you:
